Edu-Fair Classic 2026
Empowering Minds, Shaping Futures: Five Years of Impact
This year’s Edu-Fair Classic 2026 marks a significant milestone for Admission World Fairs as we celebrate our first five years of positive impact on the global education landscape.
This special edition is designed to inspire prospective students to rekindle their passion for international study and to empower educational institutions to achieve their marketing and engagement goals.
The event will feature motivational speakers, alumni testimonials, and interactive sessions aimed at helping students rediscover their enthusiasm for studying overseas.
Experts will provide clear and up-to-date information on recent policy changes affecting student visas, admissions, and funding opportunities, ensuring students have the knowledge they need to navigate the evolving landscape.
This year, we take Edu-Fair Classic 2026 to three major venues. We begin in Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa, then move to Kumasi and Accra, both in Ghana, where the tour concludes. This multi-venue format ensures institutions gain maximum visibility and the opportunity to connect with prospective students across West Africa.
Institutions can leverage the fair to showcase their unique strengths, programs, and campus facilities to a diverse and engaged audience of pre-screened students interested in studying abroad.
OUR THREE (3) FAIR VENUES
Abuja Nigeria
Education has long been a cornerstone of progress and development in Nigeria, serving as a powerful tool for social mobility, economic growth, and personal fulfillment. Nigerian families place tremendous value on quality education, recognizing it as essential for national advancement.
This is reflected in the increasing number of Nigerian students pursuing higher education both locally and internationally.
Nigeria ranks among the leading countries in Africa for student mobility, with over 70,000 students currently enrolled in institutions overseas. Popular destinations include the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Australia.
Abuja, the capital city, is notable for its concentration of affluent families and a thriving community of ambitious young students aspiring to global education opportunities. Its modern infrastructure and status as a political and economic hub make it an ideal location for connecting students with international institutions.
Hosting an education fair in Abuja in October 2026 will provide a unique platform for students, parents, and educators to engage directly with representatives from top international institutions.
October is an ideal time for the fair, aligning with the academic calendar and allowing families to plan applications for the following year. The event will reinforce Nigeria’s commitment to education and global engagement, further establishing Abuja as a gateway to academic excellence and international collaboration.
ACCRA & KUMASI, GHANA
Ghana has a population of approximately 35 million, with more than half under the age of 25. Accra, the capital, is one of the fastest-growing cities in Africa, while Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region, is the country’s second-largest city.
Ghana’s two largest metropolitan areas are Accra and Kumasi.
Formal education up to the secondary level is free in Ghana. As of March 2020, over 404,000 students were enrolled under the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy introduced in 2017.
Since the policy’s inception, enrolment has increased significantly—from 813,448 students in the 2016/17 academic year to over 1.3 million in 2022/23. This rapid growth has driven increased demand for university education.
As a result, Ghana is emerging as a key source of international students, with strong potential to shape African student mobility over the next decade.
The number of Ghanaian students studying in the “Big Four” destinations has more than quadrupled since 2019. Ghana has become a critical source of student diversity, particularly for Canada, where it ranked as the 9th largest source of new international students in 2023.
Ghanaian students are highly motivated and academically driven, making them excellent candidates for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes abroad.
With Ghana now widely recognized as an important emerging market for international education, a study abroad fair presents a valuable opportunity to connect institutions with high-quality prospective students.
Admission World Fair’s Edu-Fair Classic 2026 will serve as a strong platform to recruit pre-screened, qualified students from Ghana.
The fair is expected to attract over 1,000 students from various academic backgrounds, including WAEC, IGCSE (Cambridge), IB Diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.
